About the name

We clean roofs. We do not build, repair, or replace them. The word "roofing" in our name refers to what we clean, not what we construct. No roofing contractor license is held or needed — our work is exterior surface cleaning using chemical treatment and low-pressure rinse, the same way a car wash cleans paint without being a body shop.

The company started doing exclusively roof soft washes after the 2024 hurricane season, when every HOA in Broward noticed their barrel tile had gone black. The name was filed then. By the time we expanded into driveways, pool decks and full exterior washes, the corporation paperwork, EIN and bank account were already done. Amending a Florida corporation name costs more in state fees and accountant time than the confusion justifies, so the name stayed.

Sodium hypochlorite solution applied at low pressure, dwelling 8-12 minutes, then rinsed under 1,000 PSI. Kills algae and Gloeocapsa magma without cracking tile or stripping coating.

Common questions

Will pressure washing crack my barrel tile?
Not with our method. We soft-wash tile roofs at under 1,000 PSI using a chemical solution that does the work instead of brute force. High-pressure blasting (above 2,500 PSI) is what fractures barrel tile along the curve — we do not do that.
Do you do roof repairs or installation?
No. We clean the exterior surface of existing roofs. We do not install, replace or repair roofing. If we see damage during a cleaning job we will let you know, but the repair is a different trade and a different contractor.
How often should a South Florida roof be cleaned?
Most barrel-tile roofs in Broward need a soft wash every 18 to 24 months. Flat or metal roofs in shaded areas may need it sooner. If you see dark streaks running from the ridge, it is already past time.
What chemicals do you use?
Sodium hypochlorite mixed with a surfactant. The dilution ratio depends on the surface — tile gets a different concentration than painted stucco. We rinse plants along the roofline before and after to protect landscaping.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come out, measure the roof or surface, check the material and pitch, and give you a number on the spot. If the job is straightforward we can often quote from a satellite image and a phone call.
